I'm Back...

I'm back...it has been a while but my plan is to start posting more frequently. I'm going to take this (new) first post to tell you what my plans are for postings in the future. I read a lot of blogs and other news during my day so I’m planning to post a "favorite links" section everyday based on what I read. I can’t possibly post everything that interests me everyday but I will do what I can. I will also commentate on these links as I see fit. I would encourage anyone reading this to check out the links.

In addition to these favorite links, I will try to write about my activities as well as thoughts that interest me.

I’m always looking for new ideas for posts so please send me things and I will certainly consider them.

So here we go…Today’s links:

6 Things 'Star Wars' Teaches Us About Our Money

This one isn’t exactly great but with any suggestion to apply Star Wars logic to the real world is cool.

Smells can inspire, arouse -- and drive you mad

Is it just me or didn’t we know this already? However, this one is good and provides some interesting evidence as well as insight.

Nikola Tesla

I can honestly say that I was not aware of this individual and his contributions to modern science. However, I think we are all glad of the role he played. This one is well worth the read.

Perception of conservative bias in media 64 percent higher since Sept. 2001

This doesn’t surprise me. I’ll probably have to post on this later because I don’t want to get going right now…

10 Highlights from the Aspen Health Forum

I’m always interested in what’s new and what concerns people in the world. This is a decent post that provides some interesting reading.

Anti-Bush Defections in GOP Rising - TIME

I almost left a really mean comment for this one…but I deleted it. I hope this makes people understand that just because they associate with one political “side” it doesn’t mean that all logic and reason can be abandoned just to support things that are party labeled and clearly amiss…

Democrats Seem Ready to Extend Wiretap Powers

Not sure how I feel about this but many logical points are made in this article (both pro and con).

72% US Soldiers In Iraq Think US Should Pull Within A Year...

My only observation is that if this data is accurate, it’s going to be hard to see any way to stay much longer despite what analysts and politicians say…

24 Warning Signs You Cannot Afford To Ignore

I felt like I should include this in case anybody reading ever experiences any of these signs.
